Artist Statement

Utilizing traditional fiber processes and couture craftsmanship, I create large-scale textile art and site-specific installations. By cultivating a sensitivity to materials and an attentiveness to narrative, I manipulate hand-dyed textiles, creating meaning through sculpted layers, color and form. My work frequently highlights themes of environmental connection, domestic labor, and identity.
